Review on behalf of my mum If I could of give STUDHOLME MEDICAL CENTRE !!!! MINUS !!!!! stars I would . Such appalling care provided to my mum . My mum is in agony every day due to Multiple health problems . The pain meds that she used to take which she has been on for many year so they know she needs then. they insisted if she was to come off the ones she was taking that they would try her on another type which they have not , only cocodamol to try and control MULTIPLE types of pain not just the ONE they keep insisting they do not prescribe any pain killers for and now they trying to take her off cocodamol . She has now become practically bed bound due to this and is in agony every day doubled over in pain crying . As they don’t seem to think widespread Arthritis, Chronic Kidney Disease, Gall bladder problems and gall stones (which she is on the waiting to have her gall bladder removed , rotator cuff problem, fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel, diverticulitis, among other things . She hardly ever goes to the GP which she has asked for an appointment to see a GP and now has got refused to even have a GP appointment for any of her conditions that she already has unless it is to do with something new by their pharmacist Sangita . This is appalling way to treat a patient and neglecting them let alone one that has been with them for over 50 years , I was also with my mum during the phone call which was of loudspeakers which I heard her say myself . I thought you had a duty of care towards your patients

Suggested improvements
Better basic duty of care to patients

Only release appointments at 8. If you’re lucky a doctor will call you and decide if you need a face to face. Not seen a doctor in over 3 years. All appointments gone in 10 minutes

Suggested improvements
Sort the appointment system out. Stop taking new patients if you can’t see the ones you’ve got

Today Mon 15th May..NO phones connecting and NO online form to fill in for appointments. Told by external source, forms taken offline as they have a back log... So completely left in limbo, I suspect people will go to A&E and clog that up with minor ailments. If I go to the surgery I expect to encounter a logjam of people wanting answers. When this surgery will be back to what is laughably called "normal" appears to be in the lap of the Gods...

Suggested improvements
At least put something on your website that informs patients whats going on..don't leave us in limbo

It is impossible to get an appointment. The doctor called 5 days later after I had completed the on line form. The centre betrays its name as a healthcare service- there is no healthcare or service.

Suggested improvements
Actually taking care of patients.

If this is your surgery you had best never be ill. They have made it impossible to see a doctor. Now you can’t even fill in an online request unless it’s 8-10 or 7-8. It was hard enough six months ago. Now they’ve just shut up shop.

Suggested improvements
See patients. Not keep cutting it back so much so you can’t even fill in an online form now!! . The way the receptionist talks to the elderly who were so frustrated with the hundreds of calls and still couldn’t speak to a soul. Not fit for purpose.
